Join us for an exclusive social and networking opportunity for alumni as we launch a major new Campaign for UCL. The Campaign will raise philanthropic funding and grow the university’s worldwide community with the aim of advancing world-changing research and nurturing the next generation of innovative thinkers.

Meet Professor Michael Arthur, President and Provost of UCL, and hear about UCL’s exciting plans for the future, including our major new campus in east London, and the growth of our health research work including the construction of a new world-class Dementia Research Institute.
We will be joined by key note speakers Nobel Prize winning Professor John O’Keefe (UCL Division of Biosciences), and Professor Nick Fox (UCL Institute of Neurology.)

Professor O’Keefe, Director of the UCL Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour, was jointly awarded the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Professors May-Britt Moser and Edvard Moser for their discovery of the cells within the brain responsible for spatial awareness and navigation. Their work has opened new avenues for understanding other cognitive processes such as memory, thinking and planning.

Professor Fox is Director of the UCL Dementia Research Centre, a hub for clinical research into various forms of dementia. He has made a major contribution to the use of MRI in the diagnosis of dementia and in tracking disease progression, and his methods have been adopted around the world.

Registrations are now closed.

We look forward to seeing you on 2 November!
