If you began your degree before 1 September 2009:

Your '@ucl.ac.uk' account will have finished three months after the completion of your studies and cannot be reactivated. However, alumni are eligible to activate a FREE uclmail.net email, and there is also a premium paid service - see more details to the right of this page or visit the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.

For existing uclmail.net members






If you began your degree after 1 September 2009:

You can continue to use your '@ucl.ac.uk' email account for life, for free, so you don't need a UCLMail account, although you are welcome to have one!
Three months after you finish your course (during which time you will continue to have access to your student email account), your email address will change from name.yy@ucl.ac.uk to name.yy@alumni.ucl.ac.uk.

Make it easier to re-set your password:
If you began your degree after 1 September 2009, you can register your mobile phone number with UCL’s Information Services Division (ISD).

If you ever need to reset your password, just visit the UCL MyAccount page and enter your user ID and the last five digits of your phone number. You’ll be send a code by text message which will allow you to reset your password.
