The benefits available to alumni card holders are listed in the tabs below - these are updated regularly so do keep an eye out for new offers. To apply for your FREE card, log in using the options on the left. Once logged in, click to update details (in the alumni community section of the website) and the option to request your card will be displayed at the bottom.

Lunch Hour Lectures

The UCL lunch hour lecture series comprises informative, entertaining and often controversial talks by UCL academics at the leading edge of their disciplines.

UCL Library

UCL alumni are entitled to a free reference ticket which gives you access to UCL’s main libraries. In addition, an annual discounted subscription of £50 enables you to borrow up to five books at a time. You will need proof of address, photographic proof of identity and your UCL Alumni Card when making your application. Alumni wishing to take up the borrowing access should also bring in a passport-sized photograph. For further information, please see the library's information page.


UCLU Union Bloomsbury Fitness
UCLU's gym has a top-of-the-range fitness suite including an extensive choice of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. Additional facilities include two squash courts, a dojo and a studio. For more information, view the membership page or email the Bloomsbury Fitness team


UCL Union

Alumni are welcome in any of UCLU’s bars and cafes – you will just need to bring your Alumni Card with you. UCLU bars and meeting rooms can also be hired for private functions. For further information contact UCLU.

UCL Press is the UK's first fully open access university press. All of its books are made available as free downloads, in affordable print, and via an online browser-based platform.
